Recover from the effects of cancer treatment with our 12-week exercise program designed specifically for adult survivors.
Triumph Fitness Graduates stay active with our programs designed for continued success in 5k training and more!
Triumph takes it to the next level by training Survivors to hike to a Summit every year.
We are happy to report that Triumph is continuing the intake process for Triumph Fitness and still providing services to the cancer community in a modified virtual format that keeps our participants safe. We haven’t missed a beat, because sadly, cancer diagnoses are still happening, despite the pandemic, and people need our help. Our team of certified Instructors has developed a virtual format that offers the same guidance and care that our regular format offered including the opportunity to work out with fellow cancer survivors.
If you are a cancer survivor who has completed treatment in the past 18 months and you are struggling with the physical recovery process, please visit our Triumph Fitness page for more information and to complete our Inquiry Form. We want to help you!
Breast cancer survivors who exercise moderately (3 to 5 hours per week) after diagnosis, reduce risk of recurrence by 40% to 50% compared with more sedentary women.
Prostate cancer survivors who engaged in vigorous activity for at least 3 hours per week had a 61% lower risk of death compared with men who engaged in less than 1 hour per week.
Clinical research indicates that physical activity has beneficial effects on overall quality of life for survivors, including body image/self-esteem, emotional well-being, anxiety, fatigue and pain.
