Pam’s story
Cancer survivor, Pam Whitehead thought so back in 2000 when left on her own to rebuild after the devastation of cancer treatment. She was just one person with an idea that soon grew into the Sacramento community standard in cancer recovery that is now Triumph Fitness. Her vision was to bridge the gap between “last cancer treatment”, and living the lifestyle of an “active, independent person”; and to offer the program at NO COST to survivors.
One person was all it took to start a program that rehabilitates survivors after cancer treatment in a caring, safe environment with peers and specialists who understand what surviving cancer means.
Now we need YOU. Your contributions of time, money, and outreach are what keep Triumph Fitness and our other programs available to cancer survivors.
Time is a precious resource and having enough volunteers makes a big difference in the work we do.
You can directly benefit a cancer survivor by providing funds and services that help us deliver programs.
Join Team Triumph and help raise awareness for the work that we do.
